Without a climate policy we’re running on empty;
our fireys’ heroics and philanthropy.
This is living on the edge of catastrophe
and we cannot continue; breathing smoke
and watching creatures suffering and dying in agony.
What mankind has done is our business.
Mother earth is in extremis and our leader
might just as well have stayed in Hawaii.
